WHAT KIND OF FLOWERS WILL I RECEIVE?

• Buckets contain a curated collection of flowers and greenery to help you build the perfect bouquet!
• Our bloom buckets contain seasonally available flowers.  Available flowers change throughout the year.
• The flowers included in the buckets are grower’s choice, but we will do our best to pick within your desired color palette and/or flower types, if available. Please utilize the notes section during checkout to communicate the details of what you are hoping for regarding colors (specific colors or bright vs pastel), specific types of flowers, how you plan to use them, etc.

HOW MANY BUCKET SETS WILL I NEED?

• Please contact us prior to purchase so we can advise on the number of buckets you may need.
• One bucket set will generally make 3-4 quart-sized bouquets.  Each bucket comes with approximately 50-60 stems and we recommend 15 to 20 stems for a vase sized similar to a quart jars.
• Select more buckets for larger or fuller bouquets.  Select fewer buckets for smaller bouquets.

WHAT ELSE WILL BE NEEDED?

• You will need to provide
  • vases or jars (see next FAQ for recommendations).
  • floral snips or sharp scissors to cut stems.
  • buckets or trash cans to dispose the cut stems.
• Optional:
  • tablecloth or kraft paper to protect table surface
  • ribbon or string to tie on the bouquet.

• We recommend quart jars or similar sized vases.
• Please let us know if you plan to use different size vases so we can ensure the correct number of flowers.
• We can provide vases at an additional cost or provide recommendations on where to purchase- just ask us!

HOW WILL I KNOW HOW TO BUILD A BOUQUET?

• Included in your purchase is a tip sheet and step-by-step cards with the number of each type of flower we recommend.
• We’re also happy to answer any questions you have prior to the event!

IMPORTANT:

• We recommend booking at least one month in advance. A minimum of 48-hours’ notice is required to allow for harvesting and post-harvest care.

• You may select “Cash on Delivery” at checkout. You will be invoiced for a downpayment that must be paid one month in advance to hold your date.
• Local pick-up free.  Shipping not available.  Select local pick-up at check out.

INSTRUCTIONS: On first use, wad wrap into a ball and pull apart to make wrap tackier.  Press firmly around the dish to create a seal.  Do not place your beeswax wraps in a microwave, dishwasher or oven. Avoid hot dishes and surfaces. Do not use to cover raw meat.

RE-USABLE AND WASHABLE:  Hand wash with cool water and a mild soap.  Beeswax wraps can last up to three years with proper care.

BIODEGRADABLE:  Compostable after usable life.

I understand that once I pay for my subscription, I have secured my place in the Grandview Farm Bouquet Subscription for the respective season. There are no refunds, either full or partial, for cancellation but Grandview will be happy to work to accommodate an alternate person or local charity to provide the bouquet if given minimum 24-hours advance notice.

START DATES
I understand that the start date of each flower subscription is flexible, based on seasonal conditions and product availability. I am aware that Grandview will communicate via email to inform all members of updates and the official start date, and that it is my responsibility to contact Grandview via email at grandviewfarmky@gmail.com if I am not receiving notifications near the projected start date.

PICKING UP MY FLOWERS
I understand that my flowers will be delivered monthly to the pick-up location. If I am out of town or unable to pick up my flowers for any reason, I understand that I will be allowed one pick-up modification as long as I communicate that at least 24-hours prior to the pick-up date. Otherwise, I understand that it is my responsibility to find a substitute to collect my bouquet. I understand that if my flowers are not picked up on the designated day, within the designated time, the bouquet will be donated at the discretion of the farmer. I will not receive credit or a refund for any bouquets that I do not pick up.
I agree to not arrive early or late to the pick-up location expecting my bouquet to be available. I understand that the pick-up location is also a place of business, and that I am not to interrupt or distract the staff in the course of their normal duties.

SHARING THE RISK
I understand that Grandview Farm cannot control the weather or acts of God. If complete crop failure occurs and the order cannot be filled, Grandview will offer bouquets of equal value in subsequent seasons. Refunds will not be available.

Kentucky Grown Freeze-Dried Elderberries: Grown right here on our farm in the heart of Kentucky, these are American Elderberries (Sambucus canadensis) which is different from its European counterpart, Sambucus nigra.  The primary difference is that the American elderberry does not contain the number of precursors of cyanide which allows us to keep the most integrity of the berry intact because we can consume them without having to boil them in the processing.  The freeze-drying process also maximizes nutrient retention by minimizing the heating of the berry during the drying process.

Organic Spices:  We believe in the power of nature and source high-quality organic cinnamon, ginger, and cloves to add the perfect touch of warmth and richness to the syrup.  No artificial additives or preservatives; just pure, natural goodness.
